In vitrified tiles manufacturing, Crude China Clay acts as a vital binding agent. Its excellent plasticity supports structural molding, while its chemical composition aids optimal vitrification, enhancing structural strength and reducing fired tile water absorption.
Crude clay forms the structural skeleton of porcelain mixtures. During firing, it reacts with fluxing agents (felspar) to form mullite crystals, providing high structural strength, mechanical durability, and a smooth fired surface finish.
Essential for bulk wall and floor tile bodies. Provides plasticity and stability during hydraulic pressing, ensuring tile body dimensions remain consistent before firing.
Finely ground china clay provides key alumina silicate inputs in continuous filament fiberglass manufacturing. It increases mechanical wear resistance and thermal endurance of fiberglass fibers.
Used as an economical filler in paper milling to improve printing ink receptivity, sheet smoothness, opacity, and overall brightness.
